Kensington Gardens Summer Pic-nic
9th August 2008, 2 to 5pm
Strawberries, champagne, Nomads networking drinks and a bright sun… how to enjoy this year's summer better than in the grass?
Please RSVP by the 8th August.
Saturday 9th August 2008, at 2pm. We will be near the "Round Pond" in Kensington Gardens. Look out for the red balloons, which will guide you to the Nomads picnic.
Feel free to bring friends, family, colleagues and whoever else you want to introduce to the Nomads!
Champagne and strawberries will be provided by the Nomads, and of course you can bring your own picnic food, music and games with you.

Closest tubes are Queensway (Central), Lancaster Gate (Central), or High Street Kensington (Circle and District).
Nomads Members come in for free, and there is a £10 fee for non-Members.
As in previous years, we are planning to have this pic-nic only if the weather permits − otherwise we will meet for tea at the Orangery (Kensington Palace). Unfortunately they do not take group bookings over the weekend, so we just go along and queue for tables.

I always feel very welcome at the Nomads events. Before joining the Nomads, I've attended quite a number of different networking events in the past but most of them are impersonal and with the main (and sole) purpose of exchanging business cards. At Nomads I feel that we can be more open and we can get to know the person better, with business networking as a consequence and is not the main aim.
Whether you're a seasoned Londoner or a newcomer, you'll aways find like minded people to have an interesting and pleasant conversation with.
